Aqua (and) Coffea Robusta Seed Extract (and) Glycerin (and) Alcohol
Crodarom® Green Coffee (Aqua (and) Coffea Robusta Seed Extract (and) Glycerin (and) Alcohol) harnesses the potent benefits of Coffea robusta, a variety of coffee native to Congo, which is renowned for its higher caffeine content compared to Coffea arabica. The process begins with the meticulous selection of red coffee beans, which are expertly sun-dried before the husks are removed to reveal the green coffee seeds. These seeds are then preserved to maintain their rich caffeine and active molecules, offering a range of revitalizing effects. Historically introduced to Europe in the 17th century, this ingredient was initially valued for its medicinal properties, being referred to as 'Arabian wine', and was believed to strengthen and stimulate both body and mind. In South America, the utility of coffee extends to topical applications, where coffee grounds are used in poultices to disinfect wounds, showcasing its versatility and effectiveness in both skincare and health realms.
