Rosemary Oleoresin (ROE) (Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract) is a highly concentrated, natural extract derived from the leaves of the rosemary plant, celebrated for its potent antioxidant properties primarily due to carnosic acid. This oil-soluble extract not only helps to retard rancidity in natural oils, ensuring product stability, but also enhances the longevity of formulations by effectively combating oxidation when freshly added. Our standardized version contains 7% carnosic acid, making it both effective and economical, with recommended usage levels typically ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 grams per 1000 grams of oil. Unlike lesser quality alternatives, our Rosemary Oleoresin is free from pulp or graininess, and its mild herbaceous aroma is almost imperceptible in final products. Additionally, it boasts a rich profile of beneficial compounds, including Rosmarinic Acid, Carnosol, and Rosmanol, further contributing to its efficacy and versatility in cosmetic formulations.
