SP CRODACOL CS50 MBAL-PA-(MH) (Cetearyl Alcohol) is a highly effective thickener and co-emulsifier, celebrated for imparting a luxurious dry emollient feel to the skin. This balanced 50/50 blend of cetyl and stearyl alcohol excels in both water-in-oil and oil-in-water systems, producing stable emulsions without the graininess typically associated with C16-18 blends. Its excellent color and low odor make it an ideal choice for conditioners, minimizing concerns about scent retention in hair products. With a composition of 45-55% stearyl alcohol and cetyl alcohol, alongside a maximum acid value of 2 mg KOH/g and a hydroxyl value of 220 mg KOH/g, this ingredient not only enhances the texture of formulations but also aligns with consumer preferences for products that feel great and smell fresh.
