Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside
PlantaSol CCG (Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside) is a versatile glucolipidic ingredient celebrated for its exceptional solubilizing power, especially for essential and fragrance oils. This PEG-free and non-ethoxylated product seamlessly integrates into high surfactant systems, including shampoos and body washes, while being compatible with cationics and tolerant of salts and alkaline environments. PlantaSol CCG not only enhances foaming but can also work synergistically to boost viscosity in formulations. Ideal for make-up removers and gentle facial cleansers, it can replace or partially substitute Polysorbate 20 and other solubilizers in spray mist products, promoting a more natural approach to cosmetics. As a nonionic, vegetable-derived solubilizer, PlantaSol CCG is perfect for formulations aiming for an effective yet eco-conscious composition.
